1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how DineQube processes personal data through the public website, Restaurant and Hotel account flows, customer and guest QR experiences, direct-delivery workflows, rider tools, dashboards, support/contact forms, subscriptions, invoices, ratings and related services. DineQube intends to handle personal data in accordance with applicable Indian data-protection law as it applies to its processing activities.
2. Account and merchant data
DineQube may process Restaurant or Hotel name, owner/manager name, work email, mobile number, login/account identifiers, subscription information, support records, plan and billing references.
3. Customer and guest data
Depending on the enabled workflow, DineQube may process name, mobile number, email where provided, table/room/order/request identifiers, ordered items, delivery address, approximate or live location where permission is granted, request details, notes, status, invoice information and feedback. Optional contact details should only be used for the purposes communicated to the guest/customer.
4. Technical data
Device/browser information, IP address, timestamps, security logs, cookies or browser storage can be used for authentication, security, session continuity, preferences and essential product operation. Delivery workflows may also process location coordinates after the user or rider grants browser permission.
5. How information is used
Information may be used to create and secure accounts; route restaurant orders, hotel guest requests and delivery tasks; calculate delivery eligibility/distance; show status and invoices; provide rider/customer operational communications; operate subscriptions; prevent fraud; investigate security issues; maintain audit records; measure product performance; and meet legal, accounting or dispute requirements where applicable.
6. Payments
Online subscription or customer payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. DineQube can receive transaction status and payment references required to operate the service. Full card or UPI credentials are handled through the payment provider’s flow rather than ordinary DineQube contact forms.
7. Email and WhatsApp communications
Where a merchant or guest provides contact details and the relevant communication flow is enabled, DineQube may send operational, billing, support or service-status communications through email or WhatsApp. Message delivery is also subject to the communications provider and applicable template/consent rules.
8. Qube AI processing
Information supplied to Qube AI features may be processed by configured AI service providers to perform the requested function. Merchants should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive information and should review AI-generated output before use.
9. Sharing
Information may be shared with the Restaurant or Hotel responsible for the order/request; an assigned rider where necessary to complete a delivery; hosting, maps/location, email, communications, AI, analytics, security and payment providers used to operate DineQube; professional advisers; and public authorities where legally required. DineQube does not sell personal data to advertisers.
10. Retention
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary for active service, order/request and invoice history, security, fraud prevention, support, legal, accounting and dispute requirements. Retention can differ by data category, and data no longer required should be deleted or de-identified where reasonably practicable subject to legal obligations.
11. Security
DineQube uses technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so account users must also protect their credentials and devices.
12. Rights and choices
Depending on applicable law, individuals may have rights to receive information about processing, request correction or erasure, withdraw consent where applicable, or raise a grievance. Identity may need to be verified before a request is acted on. Requests can be submitted through the Contact page or contact@dineqube.com.
13. Cookies and browser storage
DineQube may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies for authentication, security, session continuity, preferences and analytics where configured. Some functionality may not work correctly when essential storage is blocked.
14. Children
DineQube is a hospitality and business operations platform, not a standalone service directed at children. Restaurants and Hotels remain responsible for handling guest/customer data lawfully, including any requirements that apply to children.
15. Updates
This Privacy Policy can be updated to reflect product, provider, operational or legal changes. The effective date identifies the current public version.
